Quality Of Light Final
I used diffused sunlight for the first image of my wife and I. The second is a combination of sunlight and hot lights. The third was shot in the studio with Strobe. The assignment asked three shots... one with hands, another shot was to be an environmental portrait, and the last was to be photographers choice but had to be something I am passionate about.
Limbo Lighting
This Lighting Technique is called Limbo Lighting- A Photographic background that appears to disappear, usually accomplished with a white seamless paper sweep. Two strobes with umbrellas pointed at the background and one strobe with soft box off to one side in front of subject. Richard Avedon used this technique a lot.
Some Serious Shots...
This has been one of the most challenging semesters for me. So to blow off some stress we had some fun in the studio. Can you tell who is serious and who isn't?
